By engaging the entire team through the upfront planning process, Four Seasons Construction ensures a thorough review of the project by every expert on the team- owner, architect or engineer, and contractor. This collaborative approach allows us to provide continual input and feedback on the evolving design at pivotal milestones, as well as throughout the design phases.
Understanding the impact of design decisions on cost and schedule is a key goal during Pre-construction. One of our first steps upon selection is to develop the Master Project Schedule, which is continually refined throughout Pre-construction and Construction, as the project progresses.
Our Pre-construction experts conduct detailed reviews of the design documents with the design team. Building Information Modeling is a key part of this review, helping to resolve potential conflicts of building systems and other issues prior to on-site construction.
Four Seasons Construction estimating experts provide both formal and informal cost estimates throughout this planning phase. This process helps streamline and speed the design phase, and further minimizes the potential for change in the field, which results in a high-quality project.
Value Management Analysis
Our approach to Value Engineering is a highly efficient, effective, and collaborative process that consistently results in buildings that meet or exceed quality and performance expectations. We provide Value Engineering recommendations with all construction estimates when these recommendations warrant, along with initial cost, life-cycle costs schedule, impacts of alternative materials, equipment, and systems.
